The Retirement of TSgt. Myron Ardoin
Tue, June 14, 2011 at 10:45 AM
This shoot is undoubtedly one of the biggest honors I've been granted. The Ardoins are the kind of family that America was built on: tight-knit, dedicated, and passionate. They're passionate about their God, their family, their church, and their country.
I can't say enough about how much I admire our military, and TSgt. Ardoin is the embodiment of what we respect about all of them. He has serviced B-52 bombers for nearly 2.5 decades, and I had the privilege of accompanied the Ardoins onto Barksdale Air Force Base here in Bossier City. All of these photos were taken within the Base's boundaries. Awesome!
Thank y'all for the opportunity to shoot your pictures. You guys rock!

Ryan these pictures are awesome! As a military brat who lived on Barksdale (and roamed it freely as a child) seeing these pictures brought back lots of fond memories. I am quite proud of my military heritage and am proud to know this military family. My daddy was a 30 year man (Air Force) and so I know the sacrifices you and your family have given up through the years. Thanks Myron for serving our country with such dignity and christian principles, and thank you Metra and Abram for all you have had to give up also. Congrats on your retirement Myron and may this new phase in your life be full of Gods Blessings!
Ryan you did a great job! Thanks for capturing these memories for them in such a great way.
